Modifieds leave Irwindale with Focus on The Bullring

The Lucas Oil Modified series presented by Rock Star visited the ½ mile Toyota Speedway at Irwindale this past Saturday.

The HTown Racing team fielded 2 cars in the highly completive field of 24. Both Pat Petrie and Tom Pfundstein completed the night in uneventful fashion. Petrie was 17^th and Pfundstien was 22^nd. “Tonight was one of those races that you were hoping for a better finish, but we survived with both cars in good shape and are looking to build on this for the next race at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway” said Petrie.

The team is planning on being well prepared for the race on September 17^th at there home track in Las Vegas. Both cars will be testing extensively over the next month. With the help of Cody Chapman of Wicked HP, tuning the motors, and crew chief Joe Petrie along with Shock Specialist Sonny Wahl getting the cars dialed in, the team is excited about the next round in Vegas.
